Amino Silane

Amino silane coupling agent is a difunctional hindered amine-type silane coupling agent, which is both secondary amino acid and hindered ammonia, i.e., due to the influence of spatial hindering to make the amino acid active hydrogen activity is reduced, so that it is not easy to be oxidized and lead to discoloration.

Amino silane silane through the body polymerization made of new special aminosilicone oil, and then formulated into microemulsion, so that the fabric is not only not easy to yellowing, but also has stain resistance and other excellent performance, especially suitable for light-colored fabric finishing.

Amino Silane: Guide

Amino Silane is a bifunctional silane with reactive amino groups and hydrolyzable methoxyl-free silanes. The dual nature of its reaction enables it to organically bond inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermoplastics, thermosets or elastomers). It is used as a tackifier, surface modifier for organic/inorganic interfaces (corrosion protection, primers) or silicone polymers or crosslinkers (moisture crosslinked polymers). Colorless to light yellow liquid, with special ammonia odor, soluble in alcohols, chain hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons and other solvents.

Applications:
Used to promote the bonding of inorganic materials (e.g. metals, glass, ceramics)
and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers).
Used as primer in the sealant and adhesive industry.
Fillers and pigments for pre-treatment of composite materials.
Used in paints and coatings as additives or primers to improve adhesion to substrates.
